The Accord Center is a welcoming and caring community that nurtures individual strengths and interests, while cultivating a sense of belonging for all. The Accord Center is a non profit organization and leader in social and emotional education, viewing neurodiversity as an asset, and offering innovative programming through a strengths-based perspective.

Because of the ever-evolving social complexities of their world, The Accord Center can be a good fit for many young people- with or without an identified social learning challenge. While The Accord Center understands that we are all a work in progress, we place a high value on both physical and emotional safety in our community. For our programs to be a fit, young people must be able to participate in programming safely and independently. It is common for participants to be working on developing nuance-based non-verbal communication skills and social cues, but our approach is language-heavy. Young people who require more support than we are able to offer will be referred to local programs that are a stronger fit. Our intake meeting will help Accord Staff and families determine if we are a fit: schedule an intake meeting.
